Sandeep Sharma is a transportation and road safety expert, heading International Roads and Highways portfolio. He is trying to raise awareness about road safety through social networking sites to reduce road accidents in the Asian continent. Sandeep is presently based out of Dubai and has been volunteering actively towards "Making our Roads Safer" campaign through public consultations, evening talks, initiating intellectual dialogues via the internet groups, seminars and consultancy. Sandeep Chawla is an insurance agent and has been motivating people since 7 years to pledge their eyes. He donated his infant son's eye who was also his first child as he developed an acute respiratory problem. He went against his family do take this noble but tough decision. He pledged his own eyes and has been motivating others to do the same. He considers the death of his child an opportunity to encourage others and brighten the life of some unfortunate person without sight.Tara L Venkatesan
Tara L. Venkatesan is 15 years old and has a passion for singing. She has been performing since the age of 8 and has been featured on various television channels and major newspapers. Tara has sung in the Closing Act of the Commonwealth Games 2010 and in a variety of Indian and European opera productions. Tara is keen to create opportunities for those who are less fortunate than she, particularly the girl child. She has created a platform, "Music- 4 Kids By Kids" to sing and speak for underprivileged kids. She has staged special concerts all over India, raising over US$ 70,000 for the international and national charities. SOS Villages of India has declared Tara an Ambassador for their cause in recognition of her efforts.A.V. Swamy
Mr. A.V. Swamy, a chemical engineer, a sage like personality, an absolute Gandhian, has dedicated his life for the cause of the poor and neglected people of our country. He participated in the Quit India Movement at the age of 12. Involved in the Freedom fight for India, Swami was also active in student politics. He actively took part in Vinoba Bhave's Land Gift mission. He was FREA-INDIA's Regional Organiser for East India which aimed at developing analytical skills of the youth to understand and assist rural development. His first exposure to rural development was when he was working in a block in Koraput district on credit for the poor people. Later on in 1961, he was appointed as the BDO of Koraput district in Orissa by the then CM Biju Patnaik. He was the relief and rehabilitation coordinator in the cyclone hit areas of Orissa through Sarvodaya Releif Committee and Oxfam. He was the Field Director for Oxfam's Eastern India programme and was declared as state guest of Orissa. Swamy was appointed as Coordinator for Orissa programme initially designated as Action Consultant. This new role saw him interacting with important government functionaries, conducting studies, preparing reports organizing meetings and providing training for the professionals. A.V Swamy also took part in the freedom struggle of Bangladesh with the fiery youths and he became their Guru - a real Friend, Philosopher and Guide.Rakesh Mathur
Mr. Rakesh Mathur, President Welcome Heritage group, has spearheaded the country's largest Heritage Hotels group to win many awards like the "Galileo Express award" and "Today's Traveller Award" for the Best Heritage Hotel Chain for 4 consecutive years. He pioneered the Promotion of Domestic Leisure tourism and the concept of Circuit tourism. He has won some personal awards for pioneering Efforts in Developing and promoting Heritage Tourism. He's a member of Advisory Committees of the CII, INTACH, Tourism Finance Corporation of India, SATTE who works actively to draft policies to promote tourism in India. He is also the founder vice president of Ecotourism Society of India. Rakesh is also the President, North India for Save the Children India, a NEST India Foundation trustee. These social Organizations are devoted to Health, Education, and Vocational Training for the poor. He believes that tourism to India is not about gambling and entertainment, but about promoting our Heritage Culture. Along with Save The Children India, Rakesh launched the initiative of 'Safe And Honourable Tourism', a phrase he coined to avoid use of negative words, evolving a code of conduct for Tourism Service Providers which received global UNODC and WTO acceptance and was released by the Ministry of Tourism in September 2010 and will become mandatory. This is a pioneering effort and achievement, which will have a long term impact on tourism policy in India. Rakesh also heads a self initiated charitable Foundation to provide all kinds of aid, assistance and education to the under privileged and an active Rotarian and Vice President of the Rotary Club of Delhi South end.Akshay Singh

Alka Sharma is a student of class 8th of Deepalaya School. She took part in Cine Art Film making and was very enthusiastic about it. She made a Film to create awareness about environmental Issues. She worked on the theme of conservation of power and was very enthusiastic about it. She is a very smart, talented and intelligent girl and is good in academics as well as in dance, music and acting. Ashma Rashish is a student of class 8th of Deepalaya School. She is very concerned with environmental issues and took active part in Cine Art activities. She was a part in the film making on the theme of conservation of power and tries to apply the same at school and locality. She has participated in many drawing competitions and has got training on Fine Arts at Nehru Memorial Library. She is the member of Deepalaya choir group and participated in the coral songs presented by Deepalaya on the Common Wealth Games cultural programme held at Central Park, Cannaught Place. She was also a part of the dance 'Bandemataram' which was presented on the same day.Babita Bahadur
Babita is in class 7th of Deepalaya School. She participated in 'Cine Art Film Making' and worked on the theme of 'Conservation of Power'. It was a new experience for her and she was very excited about it. She is excellent in drawing and has won prizes in different competitions. She takes part in dance and drama also. He enjoyed it very much as he is very concerned about the environmental issues. He tries to implement it at school and community. Irfan is good in studies.
